Grades K-5

At the start of the year, students engage in an exciting project creating mixed media collages inspired by Barney Salzburg's book Beautiful Oops. Each student picks a random scrap of paper—leftover from last year’s collage projects—and, with their creativity, transforms it into something fresh and beautiful.
